Hong Kong Chef

In celebration of Annie's birthday, Kuya Jojo invited the adults to dinner at Hong Kong Chef in Macapagal. Or so we'd like to think. When prompted for the reason for the unexpected treat, Jojo said that he wanted to make an announcement, and that was on whether he should enter buhay politika or buhay artista (according to him, he long ago gave up on buhay musika). My vote is for buhay artista, although Jojo was practicing being addressed as Mr. President. When I kidded that I'm inviting them for coffee after dinner, with the catch that it be in Pampanga, Jojo quickly organized a trip next week, Saturday, to Pampanga to celebrate Father's Day (unless  Teensy's operation schedule for carpal tunnel syndrome get in the way). No problem, everybody's most welcome. Nai's already thinking of the menu. Jojo requested that the photos be posted right away para daw makita ni Ate at Annie na kahit sa Pilipinas lang kami, pa-dinner-dinner lang masaya na. Of course we did miss the Americans and the Canadians. Iba rin talaga siyempre kung talagang kumpleto. Fortunately, we were able to come. That's after the kids' remaining piano lesson supposedly at 5 pm (leftover from summer) was rescheduled. We left Miguel and Gabriel at Nai's parents and were back to pick them up round midnight. Thanks for the dinner and the laughs Kuya Jojo. See you all next week.
